by nature and by tradeAs a designer, I ask a lot of questions, not out of habit, but because good systems are built on them. Whether I am shaping a product, handing off to developers, aligning with business goals, or managing a project end to end, the questions are what help me see how things fit together. I lean on established design patterns where they work, and bring a creative edge where they do not. I also care about accessibility from the start, not as something added on later. I implement WCAG AA standards from the first design decision through to the code itself, since I write the front-end code myself, not just design it.
As a human, I do not take life too seriously, though I am told I am a perfectionist. Persistent and stubborn, in the good way. I stay curious and like chasing the things I have not figured out yet. Most of my free time goes to my dog, Fin, who has taught me more about patience and clear communication than most jobs ever did. The rest goes to cycling and knitting.
